I've been using one of these new horoscope apps for a couple of months now, and it gives me personalized predictions every day and supposedly analyzes my birth chart. My friend says it's all nonsense, but I think there's actually something to it. Are the modern apps really more reliable than all those horoscopes in magazines or online?
What would actually convince you that it doesn't work - or is that not relevant to you anyway? Honestly, it doesn't matter whether an app is fancy or in a magazine: horoscopes aren't scientifically verifiable in either case. Modern apps are just better at making you feel like it was made specifically for you - algorithms are pretty clever at presenting something vague in a way that feels like it's about you. If it helps you feel better or think things through, that's totally fine, but they're not more "reliable" in the sense of "actually accurate."
