Should I buy a used EV with high mileage or new one with warranty?

I'm looking at a 2023 Tesla Model 3 with 45k miles for $28k versus a new 2026 Chevy Bolt EV at $35k. The used one seems like better value but I'm worried about battery degradation since it's already been charged hundreds of times. Is the warranty peace of mind worth the extra $7k, or do used EVs hold up just fine?
