Used EV prices dropping too much - should I wait to buy?

Used EV prices have been sliding for a couple of years now as more models hit the market and battery costs keep dropping. The thing is, nobody really knows when they'll bottom out - could be soon, could be another year or two. If you need a car now and found one that works for your budget and range needs, waiting for a maybe-cheaper option later is a gamble that might not pay off since you're still paying for whatever transport you're using in the meantime.
