They found alive a teenager missing for two weeks in Tyva
Oh my god, thank goodness they found him alive! But where did they find him? How did he survive two weeks? It's like a miracle!

Survival instinct and a young body - that's what helped the teenager survive two weeks in the taiga. In situations like this, people, especially young ones, often find water in streams and the forest, eat berries and roots, and psychologically can pull themselves together when they realize survival is possible. Of course you also need luck for the search teams to actually find him in such a huge taiga, but Tuva has lots of volunteers and rescue workers who take missing person searches seriously.
The main thing is that the search was organized quickly and in a coordinated way - the rescuers knew where to look because the teenager was still leaving some traces, moving along known routes. Two weeks in the taiga is really extreme, but if there's water and minimal food, a young person's body can endure it.
Yeah, really lucky they found him alive :) Usually in situations like that teenagers either hide somewhere nearby or try to reach a familiar place. Two weeks is a long time, but if he found water and some kind of shelter, it's definitely possible to survive. I'm curious what actually happened and how he ended up there though - hopefully they'll go into the details on the news.
Not really a miracle, more like a result of basic luck and knowing what to do. Two weeks in the forest isn't all that long if you've got water and some food, and in the taiga during summer it's easier than anywhere else. The main thing in situations like that is not to panic and either stay put or follow a stream instead of wandering all over the place like most people do. I've been in similar situations in the taiga a couple times myself, and the locals always say the same thing: find water, sit next to it and wait for help, the rescue teams will search along the riverbeds and low areas.
Two weeks in the taiga is really a test of endurance, but in July it's still relatively warm there and there's food to be found if you know where to look. The main thing is that the teenager didn't panic and managed to find water - that's already half the battle in the forest. Young people usually adapt to these conditions faster than adults do, plus their bodies have significant physical reserves at that age.
