I'm looking for alternatives to Netflix because it feels like I'm paying too much, and I want to see if there are other services that offer better value. I'm mainly interested in Italian films and some decent international series.
Don't bother searching pirate sites - you'll just end up with viruses and legal trouble, it's not worth it. For Italian films especially, check out RaiPlay (free, tons of Italian productions and some decent series), or try Prime Video if you don't have it yet - it costs less than Netflix and has a solid selection of films and shows. If you want something more specific, there's also NOW (which has HBO films and series) or Timvision, depends on what you're looking for and how much you're willing to spend a month, but honestly the combo of free RaiPlay plus one of Prime or NOW covers most tastes without breaking the bank.
