Lost, did you think the ending was terrible?
I watched the entire series during lockdown and honestly, I was disappointed by the last seasons. What did you guys think about it?

Oh yeah, the Lost ending is definitely a topic that divides people hard! Personally, I found it pretty mixed. There were things I liked, like the whole spiritual dimension with the island and then the characters reuniting at the end, that was actually touching. But yeah, I totally get those who were disappointed because obviously they left questions hanging and that can really be frustrating. I personally like when a series gives me concrete answers instead of just vague philosophy, you know? It's like when you cook something and the final result doesn't match what you'd imagined along the way, that's disappointing.
What I didn't really like was that the last seasons really slowed down in terms of action and mystery. There was too much filler for my taste, and the stakes seemed less clear to me. I get the feeling they didn't know where they were going with the story toward the end. Though I guess writing a series over 6 years is complicated to manage everything properly. Compared to other series I've watched, Lost was still pretty innovative for its time, gotta give it that.
But yeah, if you watched it all at once during lockdown, it's true that the pacing can seem even weirder. I followed it as it aired back then so I didn't get the shock of binge-watching. Did you not like it at all or were there moments that got to you?
