What do I need to bring to my first big concert?

I'd bring a power bank so your phone doesn't die when you're taking photos and stuff. a jacket's a good idea too, even if it's warm, arenas can get pretty chilly in the evenings - plus the outdoor areas. otherwise I'd just bring some cash or a card for drinks and snacks, they always charge a bit extra for that stuff lol. oh and check the venue's website beforehand to see if there are any rules, some places are pretty picky about bags and that kind of thing.

What I'd add: bring a small bag you can take with you - some arenas are strict about it, but a small crossbody bag works pretty much everywhere. Put your wallet in there, ID (just in case they check), tickets printed out or loaded on your phone. Bring cash, because everything at the stands costs a fortune and cards don't work everywhere. Earplugs in case it gets too loud - some arenas are seriously loud.

For outside: sunscreen if it starts during the day, water in a reusable bottle (empty bottle you can fill up inside). Maybe a light blanket for when evening comes, some people turn it into a bleachers blanket. Good shoes are important, you're gonna be standing and walking around - nothing uncomfortable. And just basic checklist stuff: charge your phone, battery in the power bank, don't forget your jacket. Have fun up there!

What I also think is important: bring some cash and a card, drinks and food in the arena are brutally expensive, and if you want to grab a drink in the outside areas, you've got better chances at the smaller stands. And honestly, get a powerbank for your camera too if you want to take a lot of photos - I do this professionally and there's nothing worse than when the battery dies after half an hour and you're stuck with a dead camera all evening.
