What happens if I return a phone with a cracked screen within 30 days?

I bought a Samsung Galaxy A15 from Falabella 20 days ago and dropped it yesterday, now it has a crack in the screen. I want to know if I can still return it or if the warranty doesn't cover damage from drops. Will they give me my full money back or will they charge me something?

Damage from drops is almost never covered by the manufacturer's warranty, and Falabella won't give you your money back if your phone broke from an accident on your end. What you can do is contact them directly to ask if you have any screen protection service or insurance that you might have signed up for without realizing it when you bought it, because some places add it automatically. If you don't have any of that, chances are you'll have to pay for the screen repair yourself or find an independent technician, which is cheaper than going to the official service center.

I'm gonna be straight with you: Falabella is going to reject the return because a cracked screen from a drop is accidental damage, not a manufacturing defect. The warranty covers phone malfunctions, not what happens to it from impacts. Your only real shot is to check if your credit card has any purchase protection insurance that covers accidents, but that depends on your bank and what plan you have. If none of that works out, unfortunately you're gonna have to eat the cost of getting the screen fixed at an authorized service center or an independent shop.

Have you already checked if Falabella offers any additional accidental damage insurance on purchase? Because the reality is that damage from drops isn't covered by the manufacturer's warranty, so technically they won't give you anything back - but some stores sell extra coverage that does cover that, and if you bought it with a credit card sometimes the card itself has accident protection for the first 30 days, it's worth checking that before you lose hope.
