Basically ignoring people's messages, leaving them on read without responding when they ask you something direct, or writing offensive stuff knowing it's going to hurt 😅. It's also pretty bad to interrupt conversations with spam, being rude or bringing up a sensitive topic out of nowhere. In a group chat the thing is, if someone takes the time to write to you, you should give them at least a response, even if it's short.

What bothers me most in a group chat is when someone sends something that needs a response or raises a question, and people just disappear without saying anything. It's not the same as taking a while to reply - it's when you see someone read the message but decides not to answer, leaving the other person hanging. It happened to me recently in a group where I was asking if anyone could help me review something, and four people saw the message but nobody wrote yes or no. One of them told me later "oh, I saw it but I forgot to reply" - that's just pure inconsideration.

There's also the unpleasant tone thing, or making jokes that go too far without reading the room. There are people who throw out rude or hurtful comments without thinking that someone in the group might take it personally, and then all the drama starts. And interrupting conversations (I guess that's what someone was trying to say before) is uncomfortable - when someone is telling something important and another person starts spamming or drops a random meme that kills the vibe.

Basically, being rude in a chat is not considering that there are actual people on the other side. Answering when someone talks directly to you, not making anyone feel left out, and knowing when to crack a joke and when to be serious. It's not complicated, it just takes thinking for a second before you hit send.
