What's the best day of the week to ask for a raise?
I read somewhere that there's a most productive day of the week for Russian workers. Is that actually true? And does it apply to everyone or just certain professions?

There's actually no universal "magic day" for this - it's more of a myth than a scientific fact. Productivity depends on the specific person, their chronotype, and how the company's schedule is organized, not on the day of the week as such. When asking for a raise, it's way more important to pick a moment when your boss is in a good mood and has time to talk (end of quarter, after a successful project) than to go by the calendar.
