Keep it somewhere dry and cool, ideally not in a garage that gets damp or a shed where temperature swings can degrade your line and rust your hooks. If you're serious about this, a small plastic shelving unit in a closet or corner beats leaving everything in one box that gets shoved around. You can dedicate one shelf to rods, another to your organized boxes, maybe a third for nets and other bulky stuff. It keeps everything visible and means you're not digging through one massive container every time you head out.
