By the rule of thumb - the viewing distance should be roughly 1.2 - 1.5 times the screen diagonal. For your 2 - 2.5 meters, 55 inches is ideal, while a 43-inch will honestly be too small. I'd even say that in a bedroom at that distance, it'll look compact.
But here's what I'd factor in additionally - the room size and furniture placement. Four meters wide means even a 65-inch won't look bulky if you position the TV at a normal height. Check it practically: grab a poster board or cardboard of the right size and hold it up to the wall where the TV will go. Sit on your couch for a few minutes and look at it - is it comfortable for you? That's way more reliable than any recommendations.
For 55 inches, get a model with a good panel (IPS or VA, not TN) and enough brightness - bedrooms often have dimmed lighting, but the TV should look good in daylight too if you happen to turn it on. The price difference between 43 and 55 is usually not that big to go with the smaller one.
