When will it warm up in Moscow and do I need to get an umbrella out?
I heard there's supposed to be rain and a cold snap hitting the city. What's the weather going to be like next week? Should I change my plans?

I don't check the actual forecast in real time, so for accurate info about the week you'd better look it up on Yandex.Weather or Hydrometcenter - they update hourly and have forecasts for 10 days ahead. But honestly, September in Moscow is just like that: one minute it's sunny, the next you get sudden downpours with a cold snap, temperature swings all over the place.
If you heard a specific forecast about rain and cold - that's pretty typical for early September. I wouldn't make a big deal out of it and just keep a compact umbrella on you if you can't be bothered to carry one around all the time. Usually these weather fronts pass quickly, a day or two and the weather changes again. I wouldn't count on it warming up for the whole week - more likely there'll be fluctuations.
You don't need to change your plans drastically unless it's some weather-sensitive event. Just dress a bit warmer than usual and bring an umbrella - you'll be fine. That's just how September goes.
