I'd really recommend Kleinanzeigen, eBay Kleinanzeigen, and Facebook Marketplace to you, you constantly find people there who want to get rid of their furniture and often you can negotiate. Then there are also furniture exchanges and second-hand shops in your city, they're sometimes pricier but you can check the quality beforehand. A tip from me: take a close look at the photos and ask questions about the condition, I've found some real treasures that way, especially when it comes to solid pieces - those last forever.
