Don't waste time searching at small brick-and-mortar stores because they almost never have expansions in stock. Amazon is your safest bet - they've got Spanish and English versions, and it arrives in a few days. You can also check specialized board game shops like Ludilo or Devir directly, though sometimes they're a bit pricier. If you want to compare prices quick, use Idealo or Google Shopping to see which site gives you the best deal.
Amazon and specialized board game stores (like Asmodee directly, or local shops that sell online) usually have Splendor expansions available, though the selection changes quite a bit depending on where you live. If you're looking for something specific, it's also worth checking secondhand platforms like Wallapop or Vinted, because some expansions sell out fast in regular stores. Another option is to jump into board game forums or groups on social media to ask where people have found them recently.
If you want to have more options, it's worth checking out platforms like Mercado Libre or similar ones depending on your country, where local sellers often have the expansions at better prices than Amazon, especially if you avoid international shipping. The only thing is that availability is more unpredictable, so if you need something specific fast, it's still better to go straight to Amazon or the official Asmodee store.
You can also check directly on the websites of distributors like Devir or Edge Entertainment, because sometimes they have stock that you won't see on Amazon and they ship fast; plus, check if your favorite local store has an online catalog, since it's often cheaper than general marketplaces.
What nobody mentions is that a lot of specialty stores have waitlists or restock alerts, so if the expansion you're looking for is out of stock, just ask them through chat or email and they'll notify you when it comes in - often before it sells out again. Also worth checking local board game forums or groups on social media, because there's usually people selling expansions from old collections at decent prices and shipping is faster than waiting for stuff from abroad.
