At this point in 2026 it's pretty hard to find reliable sites for that because most of the old mod pages have shut down or are full of malware. If you really want to play modded versions, you're better off getting into Steam or Discord communities where people share verified resources, but be careful with what you download.
Counter-Strike 1.6 is pretty old already and most of the sites where mods used to be don't work anymore. If you still want to download something, you can try looking on Steam Workshop if you play the version from there, or on old gaming forums like AlliedModders, but you gotta be careful with downloads from unknown sources because a lot of sites have viruses. My advice is if you want to play something similar with active mods, you're better off switching to CS:GO or CS2 since they still have active communities.
