For a small space like yours in Milan, a mono split inverter like a Daikin Perfera or Mitsubishi Electric works great 🌡️ they cost a bit more than a regular air conditioner but you'll pay them back with lower consumption in winter and they're quiet if you put them in night mode, which is what matters for sleeping peacefully. If you want to spend less without sacrificing quality, Fujitsu or Panasonic heat pumps are solid too, but honestly I don't regret recommending Daikin to people like you because they maintain temperatures well without annoying fluctuations 💪
