Stage acting gives you that real energy and connection with an audience that you just cant get on film, plus theres something about live performance that keeps actors sharp and engaged in a way that feels more rewarding to a lot of them. Plus the immediate feedback and applause is pretty different from waiting months to see how audiences react to a movie.
The paycheck difference is wild too - theater actors often make way less per performance, but some genuinely prefer the immediacy of it, like how board gamers might prefer face-to-face nights over online versions even if the game plays the same either way.
