Why does the iPhone 16 restart on its own when I use the camera?

About two weeks ago my iPhone 16 started randomly restarting whenever I open the Camera app or try to record video. At first I thought it was overheating, but it happens even in the morning when it's cold. Has anyone else had this happen? Could it be a hardware issue or something with the software?
