Don't rush into reinstalling WhatsApp or resetting your password without checking the simple stuff first. What you're experiencing usually happens when your browser clears cookies or cache between sessions. WhatsApp Web relies on this data to remember that it's you, so if your browser is set to automatically clean them (which is common in privacy settings), every time you close the browser you show up as a new user and you're back to verification again.

Go into your browser settings and check if you've turned on the option that deletes cookies and site data when you close the browser. If you have, turn it off for the WhatsApp Web domain or create an exception. In Chrome you can do this from Settings > Privacy and security > Clear data on exit; Firefox is similar. If you're using an incognito window or private mode every time, switch to a normal window. If you really like incognito, add WhatsApp Web to the exceptions.

One more thing: make sure your phone number isn't logged into WhatsApp Web from other devices or browsers at the same time. If someone has access to your account, WhatsApp asks for extra verification for security. Take a look at your active sessions in WhatsApp settings on your phone and log out of any you don't recognize.
