My HP Envy 6420 has been printing all documents at an angle on the paper since yesterday, even though the orientation is correct in the settings. I've already restarted and cleaned the print heads, but nothing helps. Could it be the paper feed?
That really sounds like a problem with the paper feed or the rollers. With my customers who have HP Envy printers, that was the case 90% of the time - the feed rollers get dirty or worn over time and then don't grip the paper evenly anymore, so it goes in at an angle. Check if there are paper fibers or dust stuck in the feed area, and also make sure the paper support is properly locked in place. If everything's clean, I'd wipe the feed rollers myself with a damp cloth (not wet!) - surprisingly a lot of stuff accumulates there. Should work after that, but if nothing helps after all, then a roller is probably worn out and needs to be replaced.
The paper feed is pretty much likely the problem. My brother had the same thing - the feed rollers get dirty and then the paper gets pulled in crooked. Have you wiped them down with a damp cloth? Also, I'd check if you actually put the paper in the tray properly and if the guides are adjusted right - they need to fit snugly against the paper, otherwise it'll slip. And one more thing: is it printing skewed to the left or right, or does it always go in the same direction?
