Sidewall wear is a sign of misalignment or low tire pressure, so it's worth taking your car to a mechanic to get it checked out. If you don't fix this now, your tires will wear down much faster and you'll have to replace them sooner than expected. Depending on how worn they are, you might be able to save them with a proper alignment, but if they're too far gone it's better to just replace them.
Pressure is the most common culprit, and sometimes you don't even notice because the tire loses air slowly - it's worth measuring with a pressure gauge at home before rushing to the mechanic, because if that's all it is you can fix it with an air pump.
