With DAX exams, things get confusing pretty quickly because there are different providers and the names are similar. The "Deutschprüfung DAX" isn't actually standardized - but there's the "Deutsch-Amerikanisches Institut" in Darmstadt that offers various exams. What you probably mean is more likely an exam from the Goethe-Institut, TestDaF, or ÖSD (Österreichisches Sprachdiplom). All three have B2-level exams, but under different names. For 2025/26, several organizations could have conducted exams though - it's not like there's just one central body like with the Abitur in Germany.
If you're referring to a specific exam that you want to take or have taken: check your exam ticket or registration confirmation to see who's listed as the provider. That's the safest way to find out which organization actually ran your exam. The differences between providers can be pretty significant when it comes to structure and difficulty - that's why it makes a big difference which institution it was.
The DAX exams are administered by the Goethe-Institut, but for the exact dates and providers in your region you really gotta check their website directly or contact local exam centers - they change that stuff regularly!
A tip: some adult education centers or language schools offer the B2 exam at lower prices and can tell you straight up who's administering the tests in your area in 2025/26, so you don't have to click through a bunch of pages.
