Grass growing too fast, have to mow every week

I've got a problem here in my yard. I planted Bermuda grass about 3 months ago and it's growing really fast, like I need to use the mower every week. Is that normal or is something wrong? Could it be because it's been raining a lot here in São Paulo?

I have grass at home and when it rains a lot, I mean a lot, it grows like crazy, so yeah, the rain in São Paulo is speeding that up. Bermuda is like that - it grows way too fast if there's plenty of water and nutrients - if you want to mow less, cut back on how often you water it or use less fertilizer.
