How do I stop my snowboard boots from getting uncomfortable after a few hours?

I got new Burton boots last season and they fit fine at first, but after riding for 3-4 hours my feet start hurting pretty badly. It's not like they're too tight, it's more of a pressure thing. Should I be doing something different with how I lace them or break them in?

The pressure sensation usually comes from lacing too tight in the wrong spots - try a looser pattern through the midfoot and ankle, saving firm tension only for heel lock and toe box. Also worth checking: a proper break-in takes way longer than most people think, so wear them around the house for a few sessions before hitting the slopes again, and if they're still uncomfortable after genuine break-in time, insoles or custom footbeds can make a huge difference (I've seen this solve it when the boot itself is fine but your foot just needs better support).
