How do you solve a Wordle puzzle in English when letters repeat?

I've been playing Wordle in the browser for a few months now and I often get stuck on words where one letter appears twice. For example, in the word SPEED there are two E's. Is there some kind of strategy or logic to figure out faster where the second occurrence might be?

The main thing is that once you spot a letter (when it highlights in yellow or green), immediately try it in other positions in your next attempts, especially at the beginning and end of the word. Repeated letters often sit next to each other (like in SPEED) or at the edges - try those variations first. If a letter is already green in one position, the second one is either somewhere completely different or isn't there at all, so experiment systematically with different positions instead of just guessing randomly.

In Wordle, repeating letters reveal themselves gradually, like puzzle pieces. When one letter is already uncovered (yellow or green), the second can be anywhere - it expands your search, but at the same time gives you information.

In practice, you often run into words like BOOK or HAPPY, where letters repeat in different positions. I remember getting stuck for a while on a word with two O's - first I uncovered the first O in one spot, then I blindly tried to guess the second one, wasting attempts. Turns out, I just needed to methodically check standard patterns: two letters in a row (like in SPEED), at the edges of the word, or spaced apart. After that I figured it out - don't guess, search systematically.

When you see that a letter is already accounted for somewhere, your next move is just to plug it into the remaining positions in one word. Don't jump around trying different letters, focus on one. And remember, English has patterns: doubled consonants often appear at the end (BELL, BOOK), vowels rarely repeat in a row. If a letter's rare and already uncovered - there's a good chance the second copy is somewhere nearby or at the end of the word.
