How to make Instagram faster on mobile?
My Instagram takes forever to load stories and posts, especially when I'm out on 4G. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but it keeps freezing. Do you have any tips to improve it?

Does your phone have enough free space? Because if your storage is full, even light apps get slow. First thing I'd do is clear Instagram's cache - go to Settings > Apps > Instagram > Storage > Clear Cache. It won't delete your data, just those temporary files that pile up. Then also try going to Settings > Instagram > Use Less Data, which turns off some things that use up bandwidth.
Another thing that helps a lot is updating the app, but since you already reinstalled it you probably have the latest version already. Try clearing your browsing history within Instagram itself (Settings > Privacy > Activity) and disable push notifications if you get a lot - they also drain resources. If it's still slow even on 4G, sometimes the problem is the network itself, not the app. Test it on other wifi networks to see if anything changes.
If after all this it's still lagging, then maybe your phone itself needs a real cleanup - close apps running in the background, restart the device once in a while, and if you have widgets or live wallpapers, remove them because they drain battery and CPU.
