Is it worth buying a health ring like Oura or Whoop?

I've been thinking for a few months about getting one of these rings to track my sleep and recovery after workouts. I've seen they cost between 300 and 500 euros and the yearly subscription isn't cheap either. Does anyone here actually use them and see real results, or is it just another thing the influencers are selling us?

It really depends on what you actually expect! If what you want is to know whether you're sleeping well and how you're recovering after training, the information it gives you is pretty cool and quite accurate, but here's the important part: you already have that info with a regular smartwatch or even with a phone app if you're honest with yourself! The Oura or Whoop give you more detailed and fancy data, that's true, but if you're not willing to make changes based on what you see (sleep more, train less on certain days, etc), then you're just throwing money down the drain. The subscription is what really hurts because it adds up every month and after two years you've spent almost double what the ring cost!
