LG inverter compressor - it's real savings, but you gotta calculate it over the whole lifetime, not just two years :) I've had a regular fridge at my dacha for seven years now, and my neighbor recently got himself an inverter LG. The difference in how it works is obvious right away - it's quieter, doesn't turn on and off constantly. My neighbor's electric bills are actually lower, especially in summer when it's hot. By 2026 with Moscow electricity rates, the savings will be noticeable.
Money-wise: if you're paying like 10-15 thousand rubles extra for an inverter model, then with 30% savings on your bills it'll pay for itself in roughly 5-7 years of use. But the main thing is - these compressors really do last longer. A regular one might start acting up after 7-8 years, but an inverter one easily goes 12-15 years without issues. So you're not just saving on electricity, you're also avoiding expensive compressor repairs or having to replace the whole fridge before its time.
If you're planning to live in Moscow long-term and not swap out your fridge every couple years, then the extra cost is worth it :) Wouldn't recommend it for a dacha, but for your main place - totally makes sense.
