The real difference is in the time you waste looking for buyers after the wedding, because nobody wants secondhand furniture even if it's in perfect condition, and you end up giving it away or throwing it in the trash. Renting costs you more in total numbers, but they disassemble it, take it away, and you don't have to spend weeks trying to list things on Wallapop that nobody wants, so in the end you save stress and money on ads that don't work anyway.

Buying cheap ends up being a headache because on top of the initial price you have to think about where to store it, how to transport it on the wedding day, and then the nightmare of trying to sell it when people realize it's second-hand stuff.
