Samsung Galaxy Buds3 keep losing connection with my phone - what should I do?

The buds connect, but then keep disconnecting for a few seconds, then turn back on. I've rebooted both my phone and the earbuds, but the problem won't go away. Is this a firmware glitch or do I need to replace them?

Try forgetting the device in Bluetooth settings first and pairing it again - sometimes corrupted connection data causes exactly these kinds of disconnections. You go into settings, find Galaxy Buds3 in the list of paired devices, tap forget, then take the earbuds out of the case and connect them again like it's the first time. You should also check if the earbuds' firmware is up to date - you do that through the Galaxy Buds app, they push patches there pretty often that actually fix stability issues.

If that doesn't work, try reconnecting with a different phone or tablet - if the problem goes away, it's your device (could be some app or Bluetooth module conflict). If the same thing happens on another phone too, then it's an issue with the earbuds themselves. In my opinion, it's most likely some software glitch rather than a hardware issue. But if the warranty is still valid, it makes sense to contact service - you can ask for a replacement or repair, they figure this stuff out pretty quick.

Try forgetting the device in Bluetooth settings and reconnecting it, sometimes that helps. If it doesn't work - check if there are any other 2.4 GHz devices nearby (router, microwave), they often cause interference, especially if your Buds3 are old and the battery's degraded.

I've run into these kinds of problems with my friends' devices too - usually a complete reset of the paired device helps. Go into your Bluetooth settings, completely remove the earbuds (don't just disconnect them, actually forget the device), then add them back again. I'd also recommend checking if there's anything else nearby causing interference - a microwave or router can mess with the signal. If the problem persists after that, it's probably a hardware or firmware issue, and you'll need to take it to a service center.

I'd first try completely removing the earbuds from your phone's memory and reconnecting them from scratch - sometimes that fixes unstable signal issues. If the interference still sticks around after that, check if there are any other devices nearby working on the same frequency (microwave, router), and make sure both your earbuds and phone have the latest firmware version installed through the Galaxy Wearable app.
