If you drink French wine regularly, yeah, prices will probably climb and selection might get tighter for a bit. That said, France isn't the only region making decent wine - Spain, Italy, California all produce solid stuff that could fill the gap. If you're not a collector sitting on bottles, it's not worth stressing over; just expect to pay a bit more when you grab a bottle. Worst case, you find a new region you actually like better.
