Curved monitors are most useful when you're sitting directly in front of the screen and all the content is in your direct line of sight! For working from home - if you're constantly shifting your gaze between documents, spreadsheets, or video calls - the curve won't give you much benefit, and there's no point in overpaying. But if you're spending the whole day working with one application or the monitor is positioned far away - then the curvature really does reduce eye strain! Basically, it depends on how you actually work - if you're unsure, just go with a regular flat one, you won't regret it.
