I'm 24 years old working as a veterinary technician in clinics with desks that take a beating from everything, and I'm telling you that investing in a good desk is totally worth it if you're spending most of your day there! I work from home some days now and I've got a Secretlab, and honestly the stability and quality of the materials completely change your experience, especially if you have posture or back issues. It's not the same as that Ikea desk that wobbles around, trust me. If you're really spending 6-8 hours a day working, Secretlab or Autonomous desks pay for themselves in terms of your back health and productivity, which is what really matters!
