Skip the gaming laptops from supermarkets or the expensive brand models that salespeople try to push on you - they usually have terrible value for money. Instead, look at specialized brands like ASUS TUF, Lenovo Legion, or MSI. At 1500€ you'll get a decent laptop with a current graphics card (RTX 4060 or so) and a solid processor (Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7). Important: check the thermals and fan reviews, because gaming laptops love running hot and then start throttling.
Pay attention to the details: at least 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD (more is better), and a display with 144 Hz or higher if you're playing fast-paced games. Most models in that price range still have a 1080p screen, which is totally fine - you don't need to worry about 1440p if the graphics card isn't powerful enough. With an RTX 4060 laptop you can play current titles on high settings at 1080p with 80+ fps.
Look up reviews on YouTube from channels that specialize in laptops (not influencers, but ones that actually test them).
