What sliding doors are best for a balcony with strong wind?

I have an apartment on the 12th floor and the balcony is exposed to strong wind all year round. The doors I have now are old and a lot of cold air comes through. I'm looking at options to replace them with new sliding doors, but I don't know if aluminum with double glazing holds up well or if I need something more resistant.

Aluminum with double glazing is pretty common for windy balconies, but the key is really the seal and the frame quality, not so much the material itself. How strong is the wind where you live - are we talking about occasional gusts or is it constant all day? Because if it's really intense, you might want to look for thicker aluminum profiles or even consider frames with extra air chambers in the profile, which help reduce vibrations and air leaks. What matters is that the installer seals everything properly with quality weatherstripping and that the tracks are the ones that close with pressure, not the cheap ones that leave gaps.
