What ukulele would you recommend for a beginner on a budget?

I've been wanting to learn to play something for a couple of months now and I'm really drawn to the ukulele because it's compact and seems easier than guitar. I don't want to spend more than 80-100 euros because I'm not sure if I'll actually get into it. Is there a decent brand at that price or should I wait until I'm more certain I'm going to stick with it?

For that budget you can find decent options from brands like Kala or even some more basic Yamahas, which sound pretty good and won't let you down if you really get into it. What matters is that the instrument is well-built and properly tuned from the factory, so you don't get frustrated in the first few weeks. Don't wait if you're keen now, because honestly if you don't start it's easy to let it slip, and with 100 euros you're covering the bare minimum without throwing money away.
