It's clearly a good place if you need cheap, decent basics, but check the labels carefully before buying - their quality is really not consistent from item to item. I've had t-shirts that last forever and others that stretch out after three washes. So even if the price is tempting, you can't really count on "it's Uniqlo so it's good".

The thing people often forget is that Uniqlo sales can be misleading. Sometimes they just drop the price without it being a real deal - they mostly sell what didn't work out. Really check if it's a normal price compared to what you find elsewhere, not just whether it says "-30%" on it.

To sum it up: yes if you want to pick up basic pieces that won't cost you an arm and a leg, but no if you're looking for premium quality or guaranteed durability. It's clothes for the moment rather than investments. What were you actually hoping to find there? Jeans, sweaters, or a whole wardrobe?

marie94 asker I was mainly looking for basics to fill out my wardrobe - t-shirts and sweaters. Thanks for the tips about sales, I'll definitely check prices elsewhere before buying.

it really depends on what you're looking for - if you want decent quality basics without breaking the bank it's perfect, the t-shirts and pants are solid and the prices are fair 😊 but if you're hoping for original or super trendy pieces you'll be disappointed, it's very basic and functional. i mostly go there for essentials in cotton or stuff like leggings that last, but honestly it's not always worth it more than other brands depending on the sales 🛍️
