I use it all the time when I'm filming stuff at the shop like quick clips of engine rebuilds or whatever. The interface is super clean and doesn't have a steep learning curve, which is perfect when you're burnt out after a long day of working on cars. I've messed around with some of the other options people mentioned but honestly I keep coming back to CapCut because the effects library is just constantly updated and it actually exports to TikTok's specs without any weird quality loss.
CapCut still dominates for TikTok - it's free, intuitive, and handles audio really well which matters if you're doing anything sound-focused. DaVinci Resolve is another solid option if you want more control, though the learning curve is steeper. Are you planning to do a lot of color grading or effects, or just basic cuts and transitions? That'll kinda determine which one makes more sense for what you're trying to do.
