This isn't really a question I can answer - inheritance cases require legal advice, not internet tips. But in general: if the values don't match up, you can work it out so whoever got the more expensive stuff pays the difference to the other person, or sell one or two assets and split the money equally. The main thing is to discuss it calmly or with a notary who can help you draw up an agreement between you. If you can't reach a deal, then it makes sense to go see a lawyer or take it to court, but that's definitely the last resort.

My friend had a similar situation - she wanted her mom's dacha, and her brother wanted the computer and furniture 😅 They just went to an appraiser, found out the actual value of each piece of property, and then worked it out like this: she took the dacha, he took everything else plus she paid him the difference in installments. No court involved, they just sat down, did the math honestly and divided it equally.

In your case it's the same thing - if the apartment is worth more than the car (and it usually is), then either you pay your brother the difference, or you take the car and he takes the apartment plus you pay him. The key thing is to get the exact value through an appraisal first, don't just guess 💰 After that it's easier to come to an agreement once the numbers are clear.
