Honestly, without subtitles it's pretty tough if you don't understand much yet - better start with English subtitles first, that way you're connecting what you see with what you read, and then drop the subtitles once it flows more naturally for you. If you're set on doing it without them from the start, pick series with clear dialogue and simple language (not like 19th-century British dramas lol), watch the same episodes several times so the accent sticks with you, and keep an audio dictionary handy for when you get lost - either way you're gonna miss like 60-70% of what's being said, but some of it will still sink in.
