I've been looking at new TVs for about a year now and can't make up my mind. I have the budget for a 55-inch Samsung QLED, but I've been seeing OLED prices drop quite a bit lately. Which one will last longer without screen burn-in issues? I watch a lot of YouTube and series.
If you watch a lot of YouTube and series, honestly OLED is going to give you an infinitely better visual experience than QLED, and the burn-in fears aren't what they used to be years ago because manufacturers packed in a ton of protections. The Samsung QLED is solid and will last you years without issues, but once you see OLED in person the pure blacks and vibrant colors of QLED just fall short! Since you've been going back and forth for a year already, I think you should go for OLED if you can swing it financially now that prices have come down, because the difference in everyday use is pretty noticeable when you're consuming content constantly.
