We met online, in different cities, and we've been video chatting for a month now. I feel like attachment is growing, but I understand that in reality we can probably only meet like once every six months.
A month of video calls is way too short a timeframe to figure out if you'll actually work in person, because you can't see a lot through a screen. If you're both okay with seeing each other once every six months and you genuinely like each other, you can give it a shot, but be honest with yourself about whether you're comfortable with that kind of distance long-term.
