I've had my 55" LG for two months now, bought it at Carrefour, and the remote keeps disconnecting constantly. I've changed the batteries, cleaned the TV's sensors, but nothing works. Is this a common issue with these remotes or am I doing something wrong?
Try resetting the remote by pointing it at the TV and pressing the volume and channel buttons simultaneously for about 10-15 seconds, that usually fixes weird disconnection issues. If that doesn't work, the next step would be to check that the TV's infrared sensor isn't blocked by anything (sometimes dust builds up inside it) and, if none of that works for you, it's probably a defect with the remote itself and you should contact LG's technical support because with just two months since you bought it they should swap it out no problem!
