What nobody mentions is that the difference comes down more to installation than the material itself: a poorly installed or improperly sealed vitrified toilet ends up leaking water and rotting the floor, and fixing that later costs a fortune. I'll agree that vitrified is superior for stains and cleaning, but what really matters is having a plumber who knows what he's doing - because if he doesn't, regular porcelain will last longer just because it's more forgiving of installation mistakes. The price honestly is pretty similar for both (maybe 50-100 euros difference), so go with vitrified but make sure whoever installs it does the job right.

Vitrified ceramic is what you're looking for: it's more stain-resistant, easier to clean, and lasts way longer than regular porcelain. The price difference isn't that big, and considering a toilet lasts you years, it's worth spending a little extra on vitrified. If stains won't come off with normal cleaning anymore, it's probably because the glaze on yours has worn down, so anything new is going to look so much better.

When I replaced my bathroom toilet a few years ago, I went with vitrified ceramic and I don't regret it one bit. Regular porcelain stains easily and then it's a hassle to clean, vitrified saves you from that. The price is a bit higher but honestly the difference isn't that big, and considering it'll last you years without stubborn stains, it's worth it.
