Strange noises in the suspension when turning corners
My Renault Megane makes a weird creaking noise in the front when I turn sharply or go through tight curves. What could be going wrong? Could it be the sway bar or the bushings?

It's very likely worn stabilizer bar bushings, especially if the noise is coming from the front when turning. It could also be the ball joint or shock absorber mounts, so you should have a mechanic check it by lifting the car and moving the suspension to pinpoint exactly where the creaking is coming from.
The creaking in tight corners almost always comes from there, but before you spend money at the shop check one thing: take the car into a slow corner and turn the steering wheel all the way while someone listens to exactly where the noise is coming from. If it's right where the bar connects to the side chassis, then yeah, worn bushings. But if the sound is coming more from the center or from above, it could be that the steering column is loose or the shock mount has play in it, which is cheaper to fix.
