What are some good German true-crime series in 2025/2026?

Check out "The Girl from the Sanatorium" if you're into good German true crime - the series is based on a real case and really pulls you in. Otherwise stuff like "Tatortreiniger" (more dark comedy) or documentaries on Netflix and ARD are solid, but actual new series in that genre aren't that common right now. Your best bet is to scroll through the true-crime categories on your streaming platforms, because new stuff's constantly coming out and I don't have a handle on all the current productions.
