Don't rely on taxis or rideshare apps right away - they'll drain your wallet fast if you're exploring a new place. Public transit is almost always your best bet: grab a transit card, download the local transit app, and you'll figure out the routes pretty quickly. If the city's got good bike infrastructure, renting a bike is a solid way to get around and actually see the neighborhoods. Walking is underrated too - you'll stumble onto spots that tourists never find and get a real feel for how the place works.
