In 2026, Dostoevsky pretty much started a wave on TikTok - video bloggers break down *Crime and Punishment* like it's a detective story, and that really hooked the audience. Tolstoy's trending too, but mostly through memes about war and peace. Chekhov's also popular among the classics thanks to his short stories - people literally read them over music and do their own interpretations. Modern authors though? They don't really get much attention there, to be honest - classic literature just seems to edit better somehow.
