I've noticed that lately a lot of authors are gaining followers by writing snippets on social media and then releasing their full books. The thing is, I see this viral content but I don't really know who these people are or if it's worth reading their complete works. Does anyone follow any of these creators?
There are quite a few, honestly it's pretty common now 😅 Some of the big ones are like BookTok creators who post snippets from their novels and then drop the full book on platforms like Amazon or traditional publishers. The thing is, not all viral snippets guarantee the complete book will be just as good - sometimes the hype comes from the short clip and then the story kind of falls flat. My advice would be to check reviews on Goodreads or similar before you spend your money, because at the end of the day it depends on the genre and what you like, not just because it has billions of views 📚
